This website is dedicated to the achievements of prof. Jerzy Franciszek Plebański. Jerzy Franciszek Plebański was a Polish theoretical physicist who has made contributions to general relativity and supergravity.

His work was devoted to:
- nonlinear electrodynamics and quantization techniques,
- relativistic equations of motion: “fast approximation”,
- spinor connections,
- a tensor, which was later named as Plebański tensor,
- an action in field of general relativity, later named as Plebanski action,
- heavenly equation. All vacuum and self-dual solutions of the Einstein equations satisfy it.
For his contribution to the development of science he received:
- Scientific Prize of the Ministry of Higher Education of the ler. Degree (May 1970), Poland.
- Medal of the Commission of Public Education (November of 1973), Poland.
- Knight of the Order of Poland Restituta (November 1973), Poland.
- Aguila Azteca with the Degree of Encomienda (July 1976), Mexico.
- Medal of the Mexican Society of Physics (November 1986), Mexico.
- Heritage Chair of Exelencia I (January 1993), Mexico.
- National Researcher Emeritus (1995) S.N.I.
- The Cross of the Officer of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland (1998) Poland.
- Official Diploma granted by the Commission of Scientific Sciences of Poland (1998) Poland.
